A prayer from the Methodist Circuit this week
Homelessness Sunday
We pray for all who are without a stable home,
For those living on the streets,
For those in temporary accommodation, or relying on friends.
We pray for those who seek to help those who are homeless,
For Carecent, and other projects which provide food and basic necessities,
For charities like Restore, which provide homes and support.
We pray for those in local and national government who seek to address issues of homelessness,
We pray for the changes needed to create a society where no one is left without a home.
Amen.
