    June 2021 Update

    Services in the church building

All our regular services in the church building are taking place once more:
    - Sunday 8.00am Holy Communion
    - Sunday 10.30am Worship Service (Holy Communion or a Service of the Word - find out which from the calendar).
    - Wednesday 9.00am Holy Communion
    - Monthly Family Worship (usually the first Sunday of the month) at 4.00pm

At present we will not be singing together, and mingling before and after the service is not permitted. Face coverings must be worn and social distancing observed. Places for the Sunday 10.30am service must be booked via our churchwarden Carole White on 07508 834565. Booking is not required for the other services. More information about our services.

    Online Sunday Worship

Online worship is continuing alongside the services in the church building. Do join us on Sunday 20 June as we celebrate Father's Day, and remember God as our loving father. Judith Hewitt is preaching. The service is available on our video page and youtube channel, with an order of service on our transcripts page.

Anyone without internet can listen to our Sunday services anytime by phone for the cost of a local call. Just dial 899433.

    St Nicholas Church & Covid19

Find out more about what we are offering during this time of pandemic in terms of worship, community support and other resouces on our dedicated Covid19 webpages.

Please don't hesitate to contact our rector Revd Nick Bird if you need support at this time - he will be able to help you, or put you in touch with people who can.

To find out about the activities currently on hold, but which we hope to get back to doing in the near future, read about us, and how to get involved in our groups and activities for children, youth and adults. You could start by reading a welcome letter from our Rector Nick Bird.

Mostly we hope that through looking at this site you will discover that God is real, active and alive! He is with us in all we do.

Safeguarding. Reassure yourself by reading our parish safeguarding information and the Diocese of York's safeguarding information.
